316L is the stainless steel grade with the strongest resistance to oxidation, and it is hypoallergenic. The finish is applied by PVD vacuum plating, a technique that bonds the color to the steel more durably than traditional plating. The pearl hangs from a fine pin beneath the lower chain, so it moves freely.

The pearl is more delicate than the steel. We recommend removing before showering or swimming, and keeping the pearl away from perfume, lotion and hairspray. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth and store flat so the two chains do not tangle.
Two fine chains worn as one: a plain upper line, and a longer one carrying a single freshwater pearl. The layered look is built in, so there is nothing to match or adjust between two separate necklaces. As each pearl is natural, its shape and lustre vary slightly from piece to piece. At 4g, it rests lightly at the collarbone.
